We are delighted to welcome Jared Sanders to our team. Jared is an Edinburgh based Jeweller with 20 years experience. After graduating from Art College in 1992 he hit the ground running. In the right place at the right time he set up a business making custom body jewellery and one off individual pieces in London. He moved to Edinburgh in 1996, where he now works from his wonderful studio. he is versatile in many jewellery making styles and techniques, with current ranges including gem set fine jewellery, upcycled pieces (vintage costume jewellery modified and restored) and his Embody Range - a collection of pieces exploring themes of love, loss and memory. His Jewellery is currently on display in several Art Galleries in Edinburgh.
Jared will be teaching regular silver smithing workshops for us throughout the year. His workshops will provide you with the basic but essential skills of working with metal. Later in the year he will run project based classes which will draw on all your new skills. Spaces on these workshops are limited to 4.
